Yes, because a storm cell in Italy has delayed and reduce to zero the monegasque breeze till 14:17UTC when the H22 class has crossed the starting line.
The morning and the first noon has seen sailors in typical activities when the wind is missing, but also the H22 class has been involved in a technical meeting hosted by the five world champion Roberto Spata. The main topic has been how to update and increase the performance of the boat: in particular rigging, gennaker and mast, with a slightly envious look to the carbon fibre mast of the J70 of neighbours. More analysis will follow.
Once the AP Flag has been removed all crews run to leave the docks and reach the field as soon as possible to engage the huge challenge:
The “equipe” of Adrenalina ITA-119 have exulted profusely the victory of the class, because the field was really a difficult and SLOW.
The victory has pushed the team on the first place on podium.

catch every single refolo di vento for the shortest/fastest track to finish the race.Despite the "technical" dismay that a Smeralda 888 has brought (bigger sails surface, but mostly d/t the spinnaker set that allows a trajectory more direct, versus a zigzag trajectory of the gennaker) cutting the finish line in front to all H22 fleet started before.
