Yep I need to recycle the title from the past, but a shower before and a heavy rain now, is affecting the start of the postponed LVA. We need to keep crossed fingers.

The first news is the relocation of the docks and village of the event d/t to the “fantastic” timing of the authority to start the works to upgrade the port (they started about a month before the event…), however it gives us a new point of view to work on (like the panoramic wheel).

The parterre is good, about 70 boats, still missing some ladies like Moonbeam IV D-8 or Cambria (at least this is back on the coast). Some boats has change totally the crew (Mariska D-1) and thanks to the just passed strange Monaco Classic Week, there are also some motor-boats.

One thing didn’t change, it’s the spirit of the event, Sailing, the afternoon has seen many boats practicing between megayachts. This give a lot of hopes in challenges during the races.

For now (apart the start of works) the only negative note I’ve to report is the plastic lock/stop of the synthetic ribbon of the “covid” check, I’ve to reimnd we have to find better solution to reduce plastic pollution of the water!!! (As I grew up on these beaches, I’m happy to say those are in great health than I was a child).
