It’s the period, do you remember how was go back in the classroom? I would say the same today in Cannes, you need a bit of time to return on the usual routine, some good some less good.
Thanks the free-covid from the prefecture (see Antibes) we are recovering the lost mood behind the masks.

In the good the return of the lady CAMBRIA K-4, there’s nothing better to see a 23mIR-JClass rated going around the bay, the rib the boss of the club has used for us (super!) the races condition, do you remember last week in Antibes with stormy clouds in the panorama? Well today has been better with more breeze and Dragons going around.

Lees good, my oldest (first digital) camera died today. Thanks for 12 years of incredible work!
Other thing not so good, the long delay d/t the slow entrance of the breeze; the 3 departures, after the first P-flag, 2 Black flags have taken downs the dragon’s excitements: already at the first black they were on the line 30[sec] earlier the starting signal, and this has complicated our life too, because some people on board need to be brought to the docks. However some good shots are on the archive thanks to the speed of the R.I.B. and maestria of our commander to be on the spot.

So I cannot say too much about the race (pardon 2 races), and I report here the words of th P.R. mails about:
English:
“In Cannes, at the opening of the Régates Royales, there are 31 to be scrapped. This Monday, November 20, in a thermal breeze from the southern sector of barely ten knots and dreamy weather, it was the Bretons of Nénette Sea to See (Fra 413) who performed a real demonstration, taking two excellent starts and operating the wind shifts perfectly to the left near the Lérins Islands. At the helm, Gauthier Guillou, engineer at Mer Concept, François Gabart's racing team, at the settings, Gwen Chapalain, one of the best Dragon experts, and finally at the front, Jacques Caraes, strong of four races around the world, in an America's Cup campaign, and who today is the Vendée Globe race director, left nothing but the crumbs for their opponents.”
On the docks in the end, it has been also organised a vernissagge with Carlo Borlenghi.
Tomorrow could be a great day, if we trust in the meteo forecast, I also waiting for another super start from Torben, non c’è due senza tre…
