J24 World Championship - Miracolo: The Italian Job!!!

Good Evening World, yesterday had been closed with Sadness for the big crash between JPN-5282 D’aria and ITA-99 J-Lag, but during the night and this morning, we found the miracle made in Italy: Japan boat already painted with gel-coat, only the pulpit on the bow still damage, while the Italian was already glued with fiber glass and resin and gel-coat. So the 2 boat was sailing already the first race!

… yes again an example of the fiarplay of the sailing world and of the big Family of the J24 Class!!!

The condition of the field were a bit stronger than yesterday and some little haze coming, wind for the first race between 12-18[kts] while for the second swinging between 10-15[kts].

During the first race, that I could follow, I could also watch a rarity from FURIO USA-5399: a little problem with the hoist of the spinnaker at the first jibe. But at the end only the German JJONE GER-5475 was first.

My visit to my big family of the J24 today is finishing, it was a great pleasure to speak with a lot of friend and see many new crew, in particular really a lot of ladies, many very young, showing that the old Lady J24 is still for young sailors those learn and fight.
