Ok the title is born by the frustration I’ve in this moment d/t a terrible wifi connection of the accommodation and similar problem from the mobile network (it’s already 2 weeks that I’ve problem to connect to the 4-5G aaarrrggg).
I hope to be able to upload something soon.

Finally there’s the sun after some weeks of rain, the coast as in Italy, needs water, and it’s forbidden to clean boats with sweet water. However inland is stormy.

Another frustration come from importing the datas of the boats in a spreadsheet and try to make some analysis: the analysis it’s great because I can spot some inconsistency in the datas (boat with LOA 1.18[m]… oppsss).

One boat it’s clear, it’s the biggest: CAMBRIA K-4, but as her cousins JClass, the design mask the aming point of the design: 

numbers of Froude Fr_5kts=0.2597 and Fr_10kts= 0.1298 and v_crit=14.8924

At moment I cannot define which is the smallest, at least 
  • the shorter: ALCYON 1871 HM01 with 9.30[m] (without considered the infinte Spinnaker boom, in this case could be 21[m]); 
  • the narrowed: DAN DA43 with 1.87[m]; 
  • the shorter draft: GREYLAG 1864Y with 1.32[m].

The P-Class result one with many Median data, making them with others the MEDIAN of the group, while the average boat looks like be WHITE WINGS A24.

After this first query, I selected some boats (Max, Min, & co.) and others those could be representative of the fleet, and we discover that MARGA F-3 rise as the most Median boat (not a surprise considering theirs success).

For the first day of race, the weather looks good, the 65 boats will make a great show and lets see who will confirm the science (here there’s no AI to survive)
