The morning for me has started with a saw in the hands, after the small mistake I did the night before, closing the padlock with a wrong combination (ops), later I visited one of the “tent” of the village where the “Velamania” shop with Lorenzo are supporting the club and the sailors with all the “technical” needs, in my case a new and better “safety” rope that I use in many ways, the last one bought in St. Tropez has nearly killed me last year in Cannes Régates Royales (luckily “just” 4 ribs…), Luca has prepared the rope perfectly with “impiombatura” (n.d.t.: splicing) using top materials like Gottifredi Maffioli and Marlow

If you come to visit the village don’t forget to pass to the others, like family Veleria Zaoli (and learn nodes with style), the beautiful paint of the sailor Philippe Gavin (he made one of my preferred poster of the Les Voiles d’Antibes), Gustavia Yacht Club - concours de photographie, or Hydravion Club de Monaco (yes, MCW means also this possibility if the meteo is good).
The game has started, nine o’clock (local time), all participants of the Chefs Competition have received the ingredients, and at midday, 10:00UTC, the first start has given, well, I need to check instruction to race the procedure, and the teams have been “alternative…”
Thanks to the wind, unfortunately lighter than yesterday, the line has been placed a bit on East of the museum, and for us media creators, couldn’t be better, for the crew a little space to the find alternative tactics, I would call this field a Tivano style field (as on my lago di Lecco), quite clear from the track of Mariska, even if the “last” on the line, the decision to start on the RC boat has paid so much that at the mark they are first;

however the fleet is tight and has been a very nice tactical challenge who tack first and where, in particular when to start to gybe for the first down wind, if you are common with one design classes or better with Virtual Regatta inshore, the three boats have controlled the others with the shear of the sails with TUIGA D-3 in charge being the last up wind to the others, with Mariska D-1 just a little bit faster to stay out of the main shear of The Lady Anne D-10.

The other big game is of course between the P-Class, with at the and Corinthian P-5 gain the first step.
The day has finished with the exam of the Chefs, and the big all white dress party on the terrace of club.

A “small” note about the pictures and the day, our small group of shooters, journalist and social media creators has the big luck to use toaday, as press boat, one of the Riva (big one) from the other supporter of the event Monaco Boat Service, this is also Monaco Classic Week.
