As the title says, small details make difference and today it has been and example, the morning breeze leaving earlier, late exit for all, longer time available of the our r.i.b. and the extraordinary driver R., so we could stay longer and later for the best light and sea conditions, a better management on board, some cirrus clouds, a new track (well I still to speak with navigators, because the in theory at the briefing and map it should be far from the Esterel but at the end the mark was closer to 8mIR and 12mIR, at least was more up and down, and for us the possibility to cover the two fields A+D), in the morning the warm up -by Viola Style…

In the morning I discovered also what happened to Elena of London, a “device" has lost the anchorage of the mainsail boom that keep a huge steel cable, so in the morning a couple of well known sailors were fixing it.

Also I discovered that another “small” had broken the top of the mast (so at least we have 3 damages at moment).

About the regattas, well we have been so focus on the spectacular festival, that I cannot tell you a lot about classic, a beautiful mix of boats and battles at near the island  after the downwind, 12mIR again a super performance of French Kiss against Kiwi Magic, and by result incredible 1st for NYALA.
