Considering the AP over A flag after the first start and 2 try for the second group d/t the lack of wind, you can think that we could close here the text, but for who could make the start it has been a huge performance, in particular for 2 boats.

The day had started already with many worries for the wind d/t the nocturnal thunderstorms with the various number of cells on the alps. However the Race Committee had launched the EAA class. The track chosen has been the n. 9, not my best favourite but with the disengage mark we can have good picts around La Garoupe and its lighthouse.

On the starting line, P-7 has decided to start on the pin and followthrough to extend, meanwhile the rest of the fleet was tacking south. 
We have followed the second start but as you know nothing happened. 

So we have left the front of the port, to follow the first fleet. What happened? Easy, Chips P-13  was chasing “offshore” Chinook NY-48 that was closed to the coast. When we reached the NY we have found also the mark, meanwhile the red boat, in the search of the revenge from the first day, had jibed too and now she was pointing Northerly, this has given a huge help to Chinook. 
Considering the speed, and the intention of the people on the R.I.B., I proposed to rendezvous with the rest of the fleet. 
When we finished we have started to return to the starting line, with the intention to do a stop at the port for food, but the radio has spoken: the most “hated” flag code, yes that is reported on top.
What a shame the first three (ROWDY NY-49 was behind) and have worked very hard to arrive there.

For today/tomorrow on the day 3, we expect a little better breeze.

If I say you RIO and NOTORIUS what do you think? Of course Duran Duran! Why the band is connected with the regatta? Easy again, because the first song has been recorded on EILEAN 499!
This lady was disappeared after the last PANERAI challenge during the Regates Royal. We all hope that this is as first step to the return of the “Circus”
