There's very little to say about today: there was a little hope to have a regatta with some ray of sun, but the time set the boats, and the "groppo" has arrived, and the sea has become choppy and wind gusty.
For boats like Cape 31 and maybe J70 (and my R.I.B. shooter) it could be sail-able, but for the others could be a bit difficult. The main reason however for the AP Flag over Hotel was the risk of coming more strong condition, and if it would have happened it could be difficult to come back in the port.
Pity!

Tonight we will have the presentation of a new boat. (maybe I'll update you about the evening activities)
Keep fingers crossed.

Update: ...but a new toy tonight...

As promised, here a small and fast update from the evening double event (actually a festival of Lombardi's  things).
The first with S.A.S. Prince Albert II we had the presentation of the Trophée (a beautiful cup made by Buccellati, Milano 1919 jewelry).

The second for a new toy for the sailors: the JUNDA K II.
I'm always impressed that from my region far from the sea but with 4 beautiful alpine lakes and paradises for sailing, there's a so incredible capability to build interesting boats.
This time under the pushed of the ex-rallye pilot Lodovico Fassitelli, Arch. Umberto Felci with Harken with the champion Roberto Spata with Velamania with North-Sails and some others subjects, has been developed a new sailing device.
Pre-preg carbon fiber, electric propeller TORQEEDO with wireless throttle, rig and controls design to be managed by 2 crew members, easy deployed to the water, create a small small keel boat daily racer.
Tomorrow even if the race has been anticipated at 09:00UTC (crossed fingers) I'll try to go deeper on the project. For now watch the pictures.
