Last day, finally the breeze has show some of its energy, and also better wave.

Unfortunately as many were expecting, another shorted track and not on the photographer like the panorama (La Siesta and Villeneuve-Loubet maybe it’s time to renovate it) and 2 marks offshore there was few good spot.

I’ve spoken with some people about the race track, why again a something long 18 NM (course n. 20) when you already know you will shorter it? Why not the old square shape track closer to public and inside the bay?

However the day has started with the runway of elegance (uhmmm with the classic motor-boats (riva and Chris Craft yesterday, is it looking to much to Monaco Classic Week? Never mind, hit’s always good when someone try to evolve to better event!) and later the sport has climbed on the stage.

Luckily the boats and the clouds have made the show, and again the P-Class and co. were on stage.

After the 4 good start (except foe couple OCS) the show was in particular a long downwind (better “lasco”) P-5 Corinthian and P-14 Olympian luffing to the limit of the boat to win every cm.

From the 3rd mark the course has been shorted and the day for us can be considered closed.

The prize giving has been kissed by the weather with the clouds those didn’t become a storm!

For me it’s time to run some shopping in Nice, relax on the beach (where, is an hard challenge, Antibes? Nice? Cap Ferrat? Monaco?) and finally cross the hell of the Italian motorway and start already to prepare for the Main sailing event of the mediterranean: La Giraglia!; for the others a stop to race in Porquerolles and/or later in Argentario.

p.s.: little note to the city hall and organiser: IT’S UNACCEPTABLE to have a “secured” parking so hot and so expensive that make Barcelona and St. Tropez cheaper (Monaco it’s cheapest, I know there’re parking free but when you have a lot of stuff to keep in the car you don’t want leave your property unsafe/secure! We understand the economical crisis but there’s limits!
